ABOUT SOLAR PANELS
As solar power generation becomes more widespread, solar panel sizes are likely to be on our agenda.
It is difficult to estimate the dimensions of the panels from a distance. When calculating how many panels will fit on our own roof, the first two things we need to know are the roof dimensions and the dimensions of the solar panels.
We would not be wrong if we say that solar panels are made in two basic dimensions. These measurements are determined by the number of cells. It has set industry standards accordingly. The panels are manufactured with 60 and 72 cells.
165 cm x 100 cm is the market standard.
Currently, the most common solar panels are those with 60 cells. Their dimensions are 165 cm by 100 cm. Generally, the power of these panels is around 260-275 watts.
A m² solar panel can produce up to 150 watts of power with today's technologies. Of course, we see that these numbers are increasing day by day. A standard 1.65 m² solar panel can output up to 280 watts.
